A couple things:
1) This looks really nice, good job!
2) While at full zoomed-in size these mockups look amazing, I can tell that at actual size (much smaller) some of the buttons and search bars etc. would be very hard to read or select.
3) A few modifications, and this will be superb!
Number three includes, like, maybe a new start button and context menu button? Also, the arrows on the taskbar look a little clunky..

Overall, very cool! :la:

Thanks for the comment.

Yes - you're right about the size of the UI-elements on this screen size - 4.3" - that will be very inconvenience for finger-touch. Here you can see the difference between 7.9" and 4.3" and the same resolution - 480 x 800 px - [link]

There is context menu button - after battery icon - looks like the start button :)
You can see more info at the first concept [link]

Now I understood. Yes, do not seem to be tied with the other icons / buttons, there is room for improvement. Maybe with these icons -[link]

More like Windows Portable PC... If they had one. I can't imagine that as a phone. But then again phones are portable computers now so.... I've made myself confused.

Thank for the feedback. I share your opinion. The true phones (these for calls and text msg) are gone.
On the other hand this is just a concept, in such a small screens this interface is not usable. Here is two live screenshots. [link] [link]

It looks perfect as a GUI for a tablet, but I don't think it would work as well for a phone...

My impressions are that you should change the system icons, they look as they were from Android, also the dialler screen. Finally, I think that if Google develops apps for Windows Phone, they will have an integrated GUI so you should change the Gmail client to.

Excelente work, I really like it, but as I said before you should work on it as a tablet GUI, not a phone's.

Thanks for your opinion. I appreciate it. Really more suited to a tablet than a phone. In this size of graphical elements 4,3 "display look small and hard to press.

Indeed they are too small, but as I said, as a Tablet GUI I think it's brilliant.
I'd really l like to see something like that used in Windows 7 tablets.

Metro is a style of GUI (graphic user interface) that is comprised of typographic style and symbolic ideas rather plain buttons that we are used to seeing all the time. It is simple, modern, and sleek.

Excerpts from Wikipedia:
~ CNET complimented the Metro design, saying "it's a bit more daring and informal than the tight, sterile icon grids and Rolodex menus of the iPhone and iPod Touch. On the Zune HD [and Windows Phone 7], you'll find oversized main-menu text that recklessly rolls off the screen. . .In a side-by-side comparison with the iPod Touch, you'd swear that Apple's whole 'I'm a Mac' campaign got its characterizations reversed."
~ Principles: "Clean, Light, Open, Fast," "Celebrate Typography," "Alive in Motion," "Content, Not Chrome," "Authentically Digital"

This is epicsauce! But, I'm not sure Google will be too eager to create things for the WindowsPhone7 OS interface. It has too much potential to tear DROID to shreds if people start developing for Microsoft in a serious manner.

Very good UI though! I'm not so sure about the sideways interface though. I think it'd be okay to work with, but it seems like it'd be a little awkward, even though it makes everything easier to use. But, the idea that the main menu bar would stay on the screen at all times, no matter what you have open, like on the PC based W7 is a cool concept, especially for a phone.

But, still: very smart. Very slick. I think more people like you should be developing for Microsoft. You'd do the Zune/WM programs a lot of good.

Thank you for the opinion. I appreciate the good and complete comments. I always liked mostly side interface. But this is not an obstacle. I am of the opinion that every application in a modern smartphone should work and look good in each view.
